Definition: An alphabetized list of all the streets and
address ranges in
a route or delivery zone. Similar to a code book except at
the individual route level.
Route sheets are provided to
directory delivery carriers for the purpose of identifying
the addresses they are to deliver.
Route sheets
provide carriers with a list of address ranges within their
delivery zone.
Some delivery companies provide carriers with route
sheets and route maps. Some distribution vendors
only supply the carrier with route sheets (no maps).
